The only Add In I had was Cisco Web Ex. I disabled it and now Word starts almost instantly. It was taking 10-15 seconds to load.

Jan 08, 2019 I have my Notification in Teams to show me banners. They are not appearing. In System Preferences, Teams does not show in the list of applications. When I log into Office 365, and go into Teams on Firefox, it asks me if I want to turn on Desktop notifications. I selected Yes. After this, I was able to get notifications even after I closed Firefox. There are multiple ways to access and manage notifications. To further customize your notification settings, select your profile picture at the top, right corner of Teams, then select Settings Notifications.
